Statues

The "Immigrant from Epirus", located in the square of Perama, Ioannina, is a tribute to the love of immigrants for their homeland. His story concerns a real person and symbolically depicts his last moments in Greece, before he left seeking a better future.

The man from Epirus, to whom this monument was dedicated, died living away from his family, who created this statue in his image, to keep his memory alive.

The Monument of the Immigrant of Epirus is made entirely of brass and was created with the kind sponsorship of Aikaterini Katsouli.
