Unveiling of the bust of Alexander Zrek.

His Excellency Mr. Dorotheos II together with Mrs. Aikaterini Zrek unveiled the bust of the late Benefactor Alexander Zrek, created by the sculptor Mr.Nikolaos Georgiou.

In the Parish Church of Agios Ioannis Prodromos in Paleopolis, once the historic capital of Andros, with the many archaeological finds and the foundations of a three-aisled Early Christian Basilica, this morning His Eminence Mr. Dorotheos II officiated and performed a Memorial Service for the late member of the Church and the Parish, the late Alexander Zrek.

The events were attended by the Member of Parliament for the Cyclades Mr. Ioannis Vroutsis, the Deputy Mayor of Andros Mr. Dimitrios Laskaris, the President of the Local Community of Paleopolis Mr. Dim. Moustakas, the President of the Local Community of Batsi Mr. Kon. Petsisis, Municipal Councilors and almost all the residents of Paleopolis
