GREECE LAUREATES THE GREEK INDEPENDENCE FIGHTER IN 1821
This artistic composition represents Greece laureating the Greek independence fighter of 1821 and consists of a complex of statues of marble from Mount Penteli.
The work of art was sponsored by Iolandi Papadopoulou – Rolshausen.
The unveiling of the work of art was made by the President of the Greek Republic Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos, in March 2017.
The sculptural work of the sculptor Nikos Georgiou was placed in Nedontos Park, located at the junction of Nedontos Street and 23rd of March Street, in Kalamata.
